The President

Mr. Basil W. McIntosh, P.Eng.

Brings to the company a wealth of experience in both structural engineering design and construction methods. His experience began with one of the Bahamas Government Technical Ministries where he was involved with structural engineering design, supervision and costing of marine, industrial and commercial structures. After several years he moved into the private sector where he gained experience in Architectural and Engineering Design, Cost Engineering and Project Engineering Management for residential, industrial and commercial projects.

Graduating with a B.Sc degree in engineering from California State Polytechnic University and a Diploma in architectural drafting, he is a Licensed Professional Engineer and therefore, a member of the Bahamas Society of Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, International Concrete Repair Institute, American Institute of Contractors, The Bahamas Contractors Association, American Association of Cost Engineers, American Institute of Timber Construction, American Concrete Institute, Prestress Concrete Institute, Association of Iron and Steel Engineers and also The Bahamas Government / Ministry Of Housing and Grand Bahama Port Authority Approved Builder.
